Thanks! and this time I ran:
# cd /usr/src/linux-2.6.9
# find /path/to/cluster -name '*.patch' | xargs cat | patch -t -p1
it seems ok, but no following options in .config
# GFS-specific
CONFIG_LOCK_HARNESS=m
CONFIG_GFS_FS=m
CONFIG_LOCK_NOLOCK=m
CONFIG_LOCK_DLM=m
CONFIG_LOCK_GULM=m

further more, when I run above instructions in linux-2.6.12 source
tree, it reports many conflicts... see following:
[root at buckupy linux-2.6.12]# find /home/share/cluster-1.00.00 -name
'*.patch' | xargs cat | patch -t -p1
patching file arch/alpha/Kconfig

Hunk #1 succeeded at 668 (offset 13 lines).

Hunk #1 FAILED at 1563.
