They *approximately* map to RHEL4 update cycles.

e.g.

cluster-1.00.X ~= RHEL4 update X (but for kernel.org)

However, they get out of sync pretty rapidly.

Using CVS STABLE branch is your best bet.  We don't put anything
experimental in there; only fixes/small features which have been tested
already.

The STABLE branch is basically the same as the RHEL4 branch except that
it tracks kernel.org instead of the RHEL4 kernels.
