[Linux-cluster] GFS over AOE without fencing?

Hello,

Assuming a dedicated VLAN which servers only AOE and GFS traffic among 
the Coraid boxes and the GFS hosts, is there any need for fencing at all?

What are the hidden traps behind such setups?
