[Linux-cluster] Postgresql service on RHCS

Have you tried to use PGCluster (http://pgcluster.projects.postgresql.org/) or 
Postgres-R (http://www.postgres-r.org/about/about).

You can achieve the same result without having a cluster filesystem.
