Supporting a new hardware architecture/chipset usually requires a few
things get implemented in order to use it. In addition to just building
the code on the platform, having access to hardware, etc, you need to
have the ability to fence the nodes. There is a very stale/old fence
agent for zSeries in the source base that hasn't been touched for about
4 years. Ifsomeone in the community with access to hardware would like
to take a look at the agent and make it work, that would be the biggest
first step in order to support GFS and Clusters on that platform.
