You can dump the locks via gfs_tool, or with gfs2 you can just look at
the file which appears in debugfs. There is nothing which the user
should need to do directly, to manage the locks.

For GFS2 I'm currently looking into providing a method to get dynamic
information about the locks. There is still ongoing discussion about
exactly what form that might take,
