Actually it's very reliable in version 0.6 (no alpha any longer).
But you have to patch in a bug fix which is contained in the
same directory at ftp://linux.msede.com/lvm/v0.6.

Great.

You will be able to work with Linux LVM quite easy because
the commands are similar to HP's which are in turn quite similar to AIX's.
