Maybe we should ask Alan Cox for putting it into his infamous ac series
first, then maybe chances are better that Linux will take it.
Btw, I just tested Stephen Tweedy´s latest raw dev patch together with
some tweak against Oracle - that rocks. Now I´ll test via LVM. This will
be nice for some database guys...
