[linux-lvm] LVM Tools for Kernel 2.2.17?

I have seen patches for the kernel floating around for LVM, but can the
old version of tools still be used??

If not, where can I find the correct LVM tools? I have looked, but I
have not found anything that doesn't give me errors during compiling.
