[linux-lvm] vgcreate doesn't work for me

Arkadiusz,

the debug output shows, that LVM allocates 3 devfs device nodes.

Have you tried running:

vgcreate test /dev/ide/host0/bus0/target0/lun0/part[1-3]

instead of "vgcreate test /dev/hdd[1-3]".

If that works, there's a flaw in vgcreate.
