[linux-lvm] lvcreate: no such device or address

Anthony,
with which Linux+LVM version does this happen (recent one from www.sistina.com
is recommended)?
Did you patch your kernel with LVM as discribed in INSTALL and PATCHES/README
in the LVM source distribution?
Does it happen with or without devfs?
