for d in hd[b-d]1
	dd if=/dev/$d of=$d.vgda bs=1k count=4k
done
tar cvf - hd[b-d]1.vgda | bzip2 > Thomas.Mellenthin.vgda.tar.bz2
rm hd[b-d]1.vgda

to me in private email (mge at sistina.com) for further investigation.
