[linux-lvm] PVs that are reused / reformatted as filesystems

It looks like my problem is actually deeper than I originally thought;

Hmm, now how can I use vgreduce on an read-only VG to remove an unknown
PV?

# vgreduce --removemissing foobar

Gone.
