[linux-lvm] collapse (merge) snapshot into origin

There was, at one time, a patch floating around (from a fedora project
IIRC) that would allow one to merge a snapshot into it's origin.  Anyone
know the whereabouts of that?  Or more importantly if such a feature is
being considered for an official LVM release?
