Hi Steve,

I'll be happy to apply that, but it's far easier for me
if it's in "git am" format.  I.e.,
Please send it one more time, but this time, commit it first,
with a descriptive log entry, and then run this:

  git format-patch --stdout --signoff HEAD~1 > PATCH

Then send PATCH as an attachment.
Actually, sending it  in-line is ok, too, but then you have to be
careful to change the first line to protect it from mangling by
mailman: s/From />From /.
