Actually I have been using the mxmlc program that is included with the adobe open flex sdk.

I don't see any haxe stuff or mtasc in f9 repo...I suspect either one would be easier to package for Fedora than the flex sdk.

I'll check them out since I'm not wedded to mxmlc at this point.
