Hmm, what should we set term to then?  The problem I've been having is 
that when sshing from gnome-terminal to a Node I get problems because TERM 
is set to xterm and w/ that it doesn't like top, vi, etc...  Setting to 
linux seems to clear that up.

rootfiles is installed and root has skel .bashrc, etc...
