Re: pam_nologin



Sorry for posting so soon, but i've done a bit of checking here:

from my /var/log/messages as i try to login via console (and btw
i meant i checked my /etc/securetty, not the inittab...sigh):

the errors i get when login from console (any user):

Feb 20 13:14:54 zen pam[333]: unable to dlopen(/lib/security/pam_unix_auth.so)
Feb 20 13:14:54 zen pam[333]: error loading /lib/security/pam_unix_auth.so
Feb 20 13:14:54 zen pam[333]: unable to dispatch function
Feb 20 13:14:54 zen pam[333]: FAILED LOGIN SESSION FROM (null) FOR root, Critical Error - Aborted
