PAMified /bin/login resource usage

Hi, I've got some dialin PPP hosts running RHL 4.0 and 4.1. I like
PAM very much, but I want to eliminate some processes; VM is at a premium.

For my customers that still use /bin/login rather than PAP, I would
rather login spawned their shell and exited, rather than stick around and
occupy VM. Is there any way to force it to swap out, or even better, make
it exit somehow? Thank you in advance. >=-)>

P.S. How about archiving the pam-list along with the other redhat lists? -CSB
