Okay, I know I am trying to do more than my knowledge of PAM would
allow me to, but please give me a pointer or two if you can...

For easier testing, I would like to try kerberos for the 'login'
program... what would I change to use 'pam_krb4.so'?

auth required /lib/security/pam_securetty.so
auth required /lib/security/pam_pwdb.so shadow nullok
auth required /lib/security/pam_nologin.so
account required /lib/security/pam_pwdb.so
password required /lib/security/pam_cracklib.so
password required /lib/security/pam_pwdb.so shadow nullok use_authtok
session required /lib/security/pam_pwdb.so

Here is the /etc/pam.d/samba:
auth required /lib/security/pam_pwdb.so shadow nullok
account required /lib/security/pam_pwdb.so

This is the real one I need to get working...
