pam_env.so: Supposed to work with service xdm?

Hi!

Is pam_env.so suposed to work with service xdm? I can't seem to get it working
as no variables specified in /etc/security/pam_env.conf show up after a login
via xdm.

I have the following appended to the stock pam_env.conf:

LANG DEFAULT=de_DE OVERRIDE="${LANG}"
LC_CTYPE DEFAULT=de_DE.ISO_8859-1,1987 OVERRIDE="${LC_CTYPE}"
LC_MESSAGES DEFAULT=C OVERRIDE="${LC_MESSAGES}"
GS_OPTIONS DEFAULT="-sPAPERSIZE=a4" OVERRIDE="${GS_OPTIONS}"

I use a somewhat modified RH 4.2, with pam-0.58-7, libc-5.4.38, gcc-2.7.2.3
and XFree86-3.3.1-1

I will make another test and check the debug log of libpam, maybe this will
shed some light on the matter...

	Ciao Chris
