Review of OpenSSH

Hi,

Over the last couple of days, I have been porting OpenBSD's OpenSSH
release to work on Linux with PAM an PWDB.

I am very much a PAM novice, and the SSH protocol wasn't exactly
designed with PAM in mind. My changes appear to work acceptably, but I
would feel much more comfortable if someone more experienced with
PAM could look over the code.

Since this is a cryptographic application, the usual warnings about
US export restrictions apply. Fortunatly they don't apply to me as I
am in .au, and the OpenBSD people are in .ca :)

The linux port of OpenSSH has a homepage at:
http://violet.ibs.com.au/openssh/

There are tarballs, source and binary RPMs there.

Please contact me if you are interested.

Thanks,
Damien Miller

(in case you are wondering what I am talking about)
OpenSSH is OpenBSD's reengineering of the last freely licensed release
of Tatu Ylonen's SSH. It has had all know security holes closed,
new features reintroduced and has been modified to use OpenSSL. It
is released under a BSD-style license.
