but x_strdup is just macro on 'libpam/include/security/_pam_macros.h'

but there is also an unused xstrdup function 'libpam_misc/xstrdup.c'

because x_strdup points just to the original strdup function. since i
don't know the difference between the original strdup of glibc and
xstrdup i also can't tell if xstrdup is more secure. but there must be a
reason that andrew wrote it....

is there a bug report page? for documentation and pam source
