Happy Monday, Flyers!

We've made big strides with PatternFly content this month! We're thrilled
to celebrate what we've accomplished as a community and share what's in
store.

*Blasts from the #PatternPast: We transitioned our old WordPress content to
our Medium publication.*

Over the past month, we've audited, evaluated, and relocated posts from our
old WordPress blog to our active Medium publication. We gathered each post
onto a spreadsheet and, with your input, transferred those containing
relevant information to Medium.
We tweeted about the effort earlier today
<https://twitter.com/patternfly_des/status/1287825530574835713>, and we'll
dive into more detail at tomorrow's community meeting.

*Time to rev up those time machines.*
Our preserved WordPress content now lives under its own exclusive Medium
tag, *#PatternPast*. Whether you're searching for past information or
looking to become the next Marty McFly
<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marty_McFly>, *#PatternPast* makes content
time travel a breeze.

We published our WordPress content from a community Medium account, PatternFly
Team <https://medium.com/@patternflyteam>. If you originally authored an
article for our WordPress blog and would like to publish it under your own
account instead, our content team can guide you through the process.

*Our WordPress blog now redirects to PatternFly Medium.*
Before, googling "PatternFly" listed our inactive WordPress as a top
result.
In with the old, in with the new––by consolidating our posts to Medium, we
ensure web searches find our most recent and relevant content first.
Now, blog.patternfly.org redirects right to our Medium page so that
searchers can spend less time sifting and more time engaging with their
desired content.

Our second content update concerns tags, too. For our next announcement,
we're jumping from Medium to Twitter.

*Meet #FlyerFridays: the ultimate brag tag.*

*Flyers, step into the spotlight.*
We're launching a weekly opportunity to honor a community-nominated Flyer
on Twitter: who they are, what they do, and how they use PatternFly.

*Casting call: guide our weekly star search.*
At PatternFly, we work the open source way––our story is a mosaic of yours,
and we want to celebrate the people and projects that excite, engage, and
inspire you.
You can fill out our #FlyerFridays nomination form
<https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeFyeuqcgdCJsTMIJ3dLYKbcNvgfBwCbVUoHshKDGqvHpwuDg/viewform?usp=sf_link>
to
shoutout individuals you'd like to recognize. Nominations are always
rolling, and there's no limit to how many you can submit. You can even
nominate yourself!

*Yep, you read that right. #FlyerFridays is basically the ultimate brag
tag.*
Have a project you're especially proud of? A PatternFly use case you're
dying to share? We want to hear it all.
We'll share your accomplishments with our 872 Twitter followers––and if you
request a feature on Medium, we'll share your story with over 127
subscribers, too. Talk about seeing your name in lights!

*So spread that support. Share that PatternFly pride.*
We've got Flyers to flaunt and stories to share. Our nomination form
<https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeFyeuqcgdCJsTMIJ3dLYKbcNvgfBwCbVUoHshKDGqvHpwuDg/viewform?usp=sf_link>
has
everything you need to get started.

Time for our community to take center stage. 🌟

Thank you and happy flying,
Alana
