I'm now quite confused.

How is rpm-4.2-0.5 an upgrade from 4.2-0.25.1? In the message I qouted, 
the poster claims to have upgraded to rpm-4.2-0.5 from rawhide, while the 
version included with the beta is rpm-4.2-0.25.1. That is most surely a 
downgrade.

Where does rpm-4.2-0.38 fit in any of this?
