Can you keep some connection with freshrpms.net ?
freshrpms have good packages :
- mplayer
- proftpd
- alsa
- etc...
near 100 new packages.

I see in you site :
- "Current repositories like FreshRPMS largely solves many of these
problems, unfortunately it does not have a mechanism to encourage users
to use mirrors."

This is a technical problem ?

freshrpms provide rsync access (rsync ftp.freshrpms.net::) . I don't use
apt and so i don't know if they rsync server is ok for mirroring.

I don't like the idea to have two different repositories.

Great. RH 8.2 or 8.3 will use kernel 2.6. This help testing and so bug
report to http://bugzilla.kernel.org/
