That just wasn't enough anymore.  There just isn't physically space any
more with the growing size of the kernel, kernel modules (looked at the
size of the e100 module?), and the size of "getting to a floppy drive".

You obviously haven't seen the relatively high number of bug reports I
do about "couldn't fit mkbootdisk generated boot disk on a floppy".
