And, to find the answer using the tools at hand:
Install the rpmdb-redhat package, and you can ask rpm this question.
[mfratoni paradox mfratoni]$ ls /usr/sbin/dmidecode
ls: /usr/sbin/dmidecode: No such file or directory

$ rpm -q --redhatprovides /usr/sbin/dmidecode
kernel-utils-2.4-8.13
