Yeah, same thing happened to me.
Before wasting any CDRs, mount the iso of
binary disc #1 and look for redhat-release 8.0.93
rpm for phoebe 2 beta.

I downloaded the ISOs for pheobe from redhat.newaol.com (today), blew away the old install and did a clean install of what should have been pheobe2. On reboot, things looked just a little too familiar...

Grrrr! Maybe changing the name of the release between beta cycles is a good idea after all. ;)
