Agreed. We should look into this, but not immediately.  We can look at
what we have once the Profile code is in.

There are a couple of small PEP8 violations reported by Pycharm -- one
for cert.py and one for key.py.  Please fix those.

You commit message contains a Conflicts: bit.  You can remove that.
