USB Camera and SCSI Mass Storage device

Hi all,

I'm attempting to make the connection to my "Fuji Finepix 3800" camera.  This unit is not supported through "Gtkam" in the RH8.0 distro and the autodetect feature does not bring up anything, but no worries right?

I've read the how-to on usb cameras and found that this unit is a "mass-storage" device.
The How-to describes connecting this type of device through the SCSI stack, but I cannot figure out WHICH scsi device I'm supposed to enter into /etc/fstab.

When I investigate, I find the connected cammera appears/disappears according to plugged status in the following location:

/proc/scsi/usb-storage-1/2

When I query the device at that location ( "less /proc/scsi/usb-storage-1/2") I get info on the camera!  Awsome!

I also have a CD-ROM which is located in the SCSI stack too.  When I look at the /proc/scsi/scsi file, this is what it says:

Attached devices:
Host: scsi1 Channel: 00 Id: 00 Lun: 00
Vendor: ASUS     Model: CRW-4816A        Rev: 1.0
Type:   CD-ROM                           ANSI SCSI revision: 02
scsi (END)

Where does this device map into the "/dev/sd?" map?  The how-to is a little unclear on this, just has some examples of entries to the /etc/fstab file.....

Thank you,

DD
