RE:New RH 8.0 Kernel

I have had no problems with the new kernel. I have an AMD Athlon 1800 XP and no (non-standard) peripherals to compensate for. I am using the Athlon version of the kernel.

Mine is an Athlon 1.2G with 384MB memory. The errors where consistent. I use the default kernel since I don't keep the source on this box. Maybe the re-compile you did fixed it?

Whoops, my misstake. This one is a Duron, 800MHz. My Athlon 1.2G is
still 7.3
