RE: support for hyperthreading?

I'm running Dual Xeons with HT enabled and I do noticed that my software
renders faster than when I have it disabled. Gkrellm also picks up 4

Steady on.  I just said I had read recently that HyperThreading support
just been made available for 2.5.x, and drew the conclusion that such
would be unlikely to appear in 2.4.x.  I never categorically stated that
did not work; I don't have such as fancy CPU to test with. ;-)
