[publican-list] unknown publican error

Hi all,

i encountered this error when trying to build a book, and was just wondering
if anyone else has, and knows how to fix it:

Can't call method "look_down" on an undefined value at /usr/bin/xmlClean
line 968.
make: *** [xml-en-US] Error 4

i am using a publican that i built myself from source
(publican-0.38-0.t2.fc9.noarch)
