Description of problem:
The following valid docbook tags produce warnings that are reported as
unsupported: 

type, methodname, exceptionname, varname, interfacename

warning message as follows:

*WARNING: Unknown tag: methodname*
This tag may not be displayed correctly, may generate invalid xhtml, or may
breach Section 508 Accessibility standards.
