[publican-list] RFE for Publican Brands

Here's a real-world example of where I have used it:

<note>
   <title>MyFaces compatibility</title>
   <para>
      Custom error handlers for the <methodname>onError</methodname> and <methodname>onExpire</methodname> events do not work under MyFaces. MyFaces handles exceptions through its internal debug page. Use the following code in the <filename>web.xml</filename> file to prevent this behavior in MyFaces:
   </para>
   <programlisting ... />
</note>

I don't believe it is necessarily bad, but the situation certainly needs to call for it. At any rate, as Jeff says, Publican should present things well regardless.

Ryan and I were discussing colour schemes over IRC and sort of decided that those who put their names against improving Publican brands for their FY11 goals could meet and discuss possible improvements as a committee.

| The problem when you make up examples are that they almost never carry
|
| your point well. It's quite easy for anyone to reply "your argument is
|
| flawed, such an important point should be part of your main text" or
| "admonitions are for unexpected behavior, a setting like this should
| be
| part of the main documentation and if the warning is still required it
|
| should contain a link parameter in the main text." etc, etc.
|
| A real example where you couldn't write around it would carry much
| more
| weight and prevent such responses.
|
| Cheers, Jeff.
