I strongly suspect that you need to include an abstract, but I'd like to get a look at the file itself before I commit myself to that diagnosis. Thanks in advance, Zac J. I did add a brief abstract to it to get around the error. I was just surprised it was a requirement, because it doesn't seem to be required if I use fop. With the wkhtmltopdf I had installed, I can't compile because it is 'unpatched.' As I recall, once before I had this problem and downloaded a special version of wkhtmltopdf. But, I can't find a reference to it. Do you happen to know where I can find that? Thanks for your help. -- Mark Miesfeld -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... That's because we don't actively maintain FOP support, so as we add features it gets more and more out of date. If you try and build a package it will also fail with this error. > With the wkhtmltopdf I had installed, I can't compile because it > is 'unpatched.' The static builds are available upstream. http://code.google.com/p/wkhtmltopdf/downloads/list?can=1 My dynamic RPMs and SRPMs are at: http://jfearn.fedorapeople.org/wkhtmltopdf/f19/x86_64/ and RPMs at http://jfearn.fedorapeople.org/wkhtmltopdf/f20/ I also have packages for the new wkhtmltopdf version, 0.12.1-development, but you will need to be building publican from the devel branch in git to be able to use it properly. http://jfearn.fedorapeople.org/wkhtmltopdf/0.12/F19/ Cheers, Jeff. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1 Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://www.enigmail.net/ iQIcBAEBAgAGBQJTQdFdAAoJELVxgDMDV+jwkp4QAJsLXi2DVrL3WaAjnHuq4xHO RQSzFkELupjc9ePmXoqzT4LUntu3mdnmuAqIiF8+GbKEa/5egvRjMTbic6W/i0cF m5RXlYZ0wMVa0As/ZRc5T70v55SMrhkvmk1OIz3XalVPP/Xzp+dBCtjcJG4bp2HK E610pNaPWbqHlJqTGKyj3CNYvShv14HYaZ5lkciQMYFhYm6YP2lmxrzpHNGOw2Ep Lgle99goM1/EqjhYOWppTZVU5IirKFXrygaZOW+cqIbxcOFLmnS+kRzqzvfwC01a n2WSNJkY4S6n+/d3SHsNGIlmyDUf9bMO5ZPWWlRtp2fX+v9menYQq6fpru1f+P1x KkML9GCAzYh47tdhx3Ft7FCdWaq3hl1R1iqry0MAWVsLp6kp/yQrylfzIDT4ANfU gwIqbmoI43GaelMRmkj8n+ko4idRD71YPcgn9iMkGyUqAfDfpsFXnahJQLV/7Sir RrdkbDTg6grvCZFAXibyOl5Ngws0SFW/Cfhk2Fu5hsI0BR2Uz7PNb91NKFXQOa7K dfQTYLTnzOlesaOAfR0J2i1wJlJUo4HJljwrjlf274VEoMYj22m4uQGwuY1at6XI 7nkkEaAra5NL4rWYDH3JP3oY5np0euc1m2MqAh/gxdcQ7jgIIdqqsCo/yq4P7XXi OHOdFOHnhKD/wnLSqrBr =puQT -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- From bkearney at redhat.com Thu Apr 10 15:30:24 2014 From: bkearney at redhat.com (Bryan Kearney) Date: Thu, 10 Apr 2014 11:30:24 -0400 Subject: [publican-list] Page size is A4, how do I make it letter Message-ID: <5346B910.8070006@redhat.com> I am running publican with the redhat brand, and the pages are coming out as A4. If you are using FOP to produce PDFs then you have to make a brand, override pdf.xsl, then change the format in the XSL. If you are using wkhtmltopdf you can pass it command line options via the publican config file [1]. $ publican help_config | grep -A2 wkht wkhtmltopdf_opts: Extra options to pass to wkhtmltopdf. e.g. wkhtmltopdf_opts: "-O landscape -s A3" Cheers, Jeff. 1: as per SOPs you can set this at the brand level as well via defaults.cfg or overrides.cfg. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1 Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://www.enigmail.net/ iQIcBAEBAgAGBQJTRxjtAAoJELVxgDMDV+jw77UP/0O8rIJCMVY3fn5lLwgqtF+g rmGrKEQqmaT675OMIq8Ed7OAiNgu/rHYLOvoYkLphfNWkQDjXveXGQkoa4qqN1jJ Pbih8l5gRmTL02x8t0HuXTG9CoQ2h0usya6pJJxP19VbW5V+ue9c7zHCzoW8UZ5a x/dqnvhBFHHA7Q+tGFOJhN4TJdMNrTDwmwKTJgi//FgTIO4gRQbxOZ/ic5rPOpnT grIlHcwvHOqLrDwOKJCsbLiqczG7MX8tA4MqXO3HFWk3zFPrWTiYxBFfYUUzfmoS iporiCKmtHY6Bx3YFPKZYXEOBtuVAo+5pjcajvvYSu6LrrUUGkllD4XCc9DZiSbi 6mS2VotViFIyYL5VdFCA0VjeJ2ZQspY6LpFvHT3NKfws/jTKva1w29DYrlj9YE1/ D1l/5kFkEAOLkJDVV4u85UCYqsTjLoD0wc8+fEFrjX3fy/NokIFY+nBRDlDAhEHi S1I7MTrbpEtOVlKV0IbzAK6vABJH8u8kGgLdhzyAiN6xUWtFc8lAU3Ck1X3EbRRv cdVlM6x8mYqLJvMMj+TsQ/ju99dMRL3yTjropy0XlnXT7UtDMjv6AYe+qcavcK4t 58QN8kBslOICLYZtMCysHzssxPgYvLyoIU9hBpzbnprARaIg6MQABGaIPHs3fpL4 6Kcm1rn7xNnUhyOfiMbt =5Gr6 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- From bkearney at redhat.com Fri Apr 11 00:40:51 2014 From: bkearney at redhat.com (Bryan Kearney) Date: Thu, 10 Apr 2014 20:40:51 -0400 Subject: [publican-list] Page size is A4, how do I make it letter In-Reply-To: <534718ED.5040406@redhat.com> References: <5346B910.8070006@redhat.com> <534718ED.5040406@redhat.com> Message-ID: <53473A13.3080107@redhat.com> On 04/10/2014 06:19 PM, Jeff Fearn wrote: > -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- > Hash: SHA1 > > On 04/11/2014 01:30 AM, Bryan Kearney wrote: >> I am running publican with the redhat brand, and the pages are >> coming out as A4.
