Hi all,
I would like to announce that in Pulp 3 there is now a new authentication
method called Json Web Token Authentication (
https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc7519 or https://jwt.io/).
It's based on a pre-obtained token which then client adds to every request.
This token can be obtained from the pulp server when username and password
are supplied or generated on the client without the need of connection to
the server.
If you would like to know a bit more please visit our docs:
http://docs.pulpproject.org/en/3.0/nightly/integration_guide/rest_api/authentication.html#jwt-authentication
Filip.
