The long RC is, in-part, to ensure that Pulp 3.0.0 is fully usable for
Katello. Related to that, one question I keep wondering is: when will Pulp3
land in an upstream Katello release and for which plugins? I've lost touch
with that conversation so I have no idea what to expect. I believe Pulp3
being offered in Katello will greatly inform confidence in the 3.0.0
release candidate going GA.
