2.1.0 was recently released[0]. I would recommend checking that out as
it has some new features and a few bug fixes.

I'm a little unclear on exactly what issues you are having. Would you
mind explaining what you are trying to do, and in what way Pulp is not
behaving as expected? It sounded like you weren't seeing the log
messages you were expecting to see. Is there further trouble, or is that
the issue you are experiencing?
