[Pulp-list] API upload question

Hi Guys,

I know that currently in order to upload content (e.g. RPM) via the API you
have to additionally include all the rpm metadata. Are there plans to
remove the requirement? I have a simple package management webUI written in
flask and I use the API for everything except content uploads. For uploads
I call the pulp-admin CLI, I'd rather remove this dependency if at all
possible.

Is this something already on the roadmap?
