Thanks Randy,

It seems that this is because of a failed database migration. /var/log/messages has:

May 22 02:46:44 myhostname pulp: pulp.server.webservices.application:CRITICAL: *************************************************************
May 22 02:46:44 myhostname pulp: pulp.server.webservices.application:CRITICAL: The Pulp server failed to start due to the following reasons:

May 22 02:46:44 myhostname pulp: pulp.server.webservices.application:CRITICAL: *************************************************************

Is there anyway to debug this or is it basically toasted?

Thanks :)

Paul

On further inspection, I think you are not experiencing that particular bug. I determined that our release notes[0] were correct about the packages you need to install for this upgrade, and qpid-tools is not required. I filed another bug[1] about the discrepancy between the migration error messages and our release notes.

Please do see syslog and let us know if anything in there helps you solve the issue you are experiencing. Thanks!
