[Pulp-list] feedback requested: 2.8 pre-upgrade test script

Pulp 2.8 introduces a new level of data validation at the database access
layer. This is great, with one exception. Some of the content pulp manages,
such as rpms, has a poorly-defined schema that has changed over time. In
short, we need help verifying that our new data access layer will be able
to validate your data, even if your data was produced by an old tool, a
non-standard tool, or imported into an old pulp.

We have a plan, and would like review of the tasks before working on them.

If you care to render feedback, please have a read and comment. We will
incorporate that feedback, and then get to work about 1.5 days from now
producing a test script.

At some point in the not-too-distant future, we will send out instructions
for running the resulting pre-upgrade script, and sharing any errors with
us.

Thanks!
Michael
