It's also worth noting that Pulp's Nodes feature is not for redundancy.
It's intended more for distributing Pulp installations across the globe
so that consumers can all have a local package repository to pull their
packages from.

If you are looking for redundancy, you might want to focus on deploying
Pulp's httpd behind a load balancer, scaling out the task workers,
scaling out MongoDB, and scaling out the broker. Nodes does not aid in
this type of scaling, though each node can be deployed this way to
achieve local redundancy.
