[Pulp-list] very slow uploads

What slow means:
[root at 5aa0f6e3346e SRPMS]# ls | wc -l
204
[root at 5aa0f6e3346e SRPMS]# du . -h
33M     .

The above took ~20 minutes from machine 5aa0f6e3346e to pulp server. Both
machines are in the same network, so the latency shouldn't be a problem.
