[Pulp-list] Pulp removing orphan does not work

Thanks for your answer.

Here is what I did

service mongod restart
service qpidd restart
service pulp_workers restart
service pulp_celerybeat restart
service pulp_resource_manager restart
service httpd restart

Remove orphan is still hanging at "waiting to begin" step

pulp-admin -u admin -p admin orphan remove --type=rpm
This command may be exited via ctrl+c without affecting the request.
[-]
Running...
[|]
Waiting to begin...

Nothing strange in the logs:

tail -f /var/log/pulp/*m
==> /var/log/pulp/celerybeat.log <==

==> /var/log/pulp/reserved_resource_worker-0.log <==

==> /var/log/pulp/resource_manager.log <==

Any other idea ?

Hi Frédéric,

A couple of things to check. Make sure that pulp_workers, pulp_resource_manager, and pulp_celerybeat are running, and ensure that the logs don't show errors when they start. Potentially restarting these services would be good.

After ensuring your services are all running, try rerunning the orphan delete command.
