Over the weekend, Pulp's automation started having failures on RHEL 7 boxes. These failures
coincide with the recent push of https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-EPEL-2017-40b69d00b9
to stable in EPEL.
A bug has been filed against the offending package[0], and the maintainer has stated he will be
resolving the issue.
Untill then, if you find yourself installing pulp on a new el7 system and pulp is broken, run the
following commands to install the needed package and restart pulp's services:
$ sudo yum install python-django
$ sudo systemctl restart httpd pulp_workers pulp_resource_manager pulp_celerybeat pulp_streamer
goferd
I will send out a follow up to this e-mail once the issue has been resolved
We apologize for your inconvenience, and thank you for your understanding.
Patrick
