The problem was that I could not see the CMS logon page, instead I see a web-page displayed my ccm web root directory and its sub-directories. I am using Postgresql database and resin web-server on RH 8.0 machine. Any helps would be appreciated. I One possibility is that FC2 Tomcat is gcj-compiled, and it's some interaction between gij/javac. Look for FC3 to resolve part of this, as we're doing quite a bit of work on Java-related stuff (gcj, gij, jpackage) right now. Deleting the user violates a foreign key type constraint on the notification_user_profiles table and therefore fails. I'm unsure how I go about changing the behaviour so that the delete operation on the user cascades to the profile. I can't work out why this fails for this profile, but is successful for the UserAuthentication. In general, there's no need any more to explicitly enter sql for all your events. Persistence will just generate them. Try something like this: object type NotificationUserProfile { BigDecimal id = notification_user_profiles.profile_id INTEGER; unique String [0..1] mobilePhoneNumber = notification_user_profiles.mobile_phone_number VARCHAR(50); // ... other stuff cut out object key (id); } association { composite User[1..1] user = join notification_user_profiles.user_id to users.user_id; component NotificationUserProfile[0..1] notificationUserProfile = join users.user_id to notification_user_profiles.user_id; } Notice I've made User composite and NotificationUserProfile component. This says that the profile is a component of the user, and should be deleted with the user. NB: this works fine on 6.1, and is supposed to work fine on 5.2. Here is the point : what is the right way to do it? I have error because of the fact the ant, in the compile task doesn't find the required classes about CCM. Actually I have also modified CCM, "renamed" it at the time ccm-core-custom and compile it successfuly. I have tried to set the following line in project.xml : and also in ccm-cms-custom/application.xml : I think that this will work if the right .jar could be found in /usr/share/java like ccm-core-custom-1.0.0.jar or ccm-core-custom-1.0.0-system.jar. So I have performed the rollingbuild.sh script which build everything except the rpm because of missing dependencies. But it has built the jar and I put them in /usr/share/java. Then build failed because it tries to access file in /usr/share/ccm-devel/applications and the folder applications does not exist. Here is the build failed error. _compile-ccm-cms-custom: [javac] Compiling 511 source files to /var/ccm-devel/dev/vpernin/ccm-cms-custom/ccm-cms-custom/build/classes BUILD FAILED file:/var/ccm-devel/dev/vpernin/ccm-cms-custom/build.xml:152: /usr/share/ccm-devel/applications/ccm-core-custom-1.0.0/dist/WEB-INF not found. I finally tried to put the .jar in the dev lib directory but it seems that the classpath given to the compile task does not include this folder. Second thing, what is the right way to use the rollingbuild script and is there some doc about it? If you just want to build them without deploying, you should be able to use the following ant targets in your project: jar-classes-projectname (for the code only) jar-pdl-projectname (for the PDL only) jar-sql-projectname (for the SQL only) e.g. cddev; ant jar-classes-helloworld The last two are called anyway when you do an "ant deploy", I think. The resultant jars (projectname-$version.jar, and similar for pdl/sql jars) should be found in your "build" directory under the dev directory. If you want to deploy the code jar as well, you can use the "deploy-jar-classes-projectname" target, or even just "deploy-jar-classes". hth, .g From jwilliams at microassist.net Wed Jul 21 15:57:25 2004 From: jwilliams at microassist.net (Jacob Williams) Date: Wed, 21 Jul 2004 10:57:25 -0500 Subject: [redhat-ccm-list] Debug and XML in 5.2.1 Message-ID: <1090425445.3457.30.camel@jwilliams> In version 5.1 I was able to prepend the url with /xml or /debug or /xsl. At present there is obvously some kind of poll, looking at pages about to expire and notifying the owner etc, is there no way a new poll can be introduced to look for pages with newly orphaned ?oids and email the page owners, or perhaps when the poll sends an email to the page owner it also sends one to the owners of the linked pages? As example in the class BaseCategoryForm, we have different field like name or description and they are persisted in the table behind the class Category which s cat_categories. I didn't found any process method in the classes. So how does it work to link CMS to CCM in this case? Thanks in advance, Vlad
