Greetings,

I would like to get some form of antispam system running. I have email
setup as:

1. Evolution 1.2.2 as my email client.
2. Evolution uses sendmail running on the same workstation for sending
out email
3. A "standard" pop3 mail account with *. so anything at mydomain comes to
one mailbox, at my ISP who is hosting my domain and email service.
4. Rehat 9 personal.

I have been trying to understand the docs for spam assassin, as I think
it comes with RH9 but my stupid factor is so high I am not making
progress.

I am happy to make any changes needed on my workstation to make it work.
I am finding myself unable to "see the forest because of the trees"
Perhaps a simple broad outline of the anti spam system would help.
Please any comments, advise, pointers would be greatly appreciated. My
inbox is something like 92 % crap these days.

Thanks for any responses ! (except viagra/credit/free money) types.

Ted Potter
