*disc1.iso isn't bootable

It could be any number of things.

The primary reason is likely that you burned the .iso file to the CD,
rather than the image contained within the .iso file.
When you open the CD in Windows, does it show a lot of files, or just
the .iso file?

Does anyone know why the redhat desktop v. 3 disc1 downloaded as an iso
and burned is not recognized as a bootable disc?
